This is our second year of a traditional CSA with these guys, this year we added fruit & eggs. It has been great! The produce is beautiful and I feel really good about being involved in the farm's enterprise as a customer, they seem very hard working and good intentioned - besides the beautiful food they provide, a lot of care is put in to delivery and communication, great energy! -Alexandra

Traditional CSA FAQ

When does the 2026 CSA start?

Spring CSA begins the week of April 21st and ends the week of May 20th.

Summer CSA begins the week of May 26th and ends the week of November 6th.

Fall CSA begins the week of November 10th and ends the week of December 17th.

Which share size is right for me?

We offer three share sizes: Small, Medium, and Large (for Spring, we only offer Small and Medium share sizes).  We also offer Weekly and Bi-Weekly distribution options.

Small shares are ideal for individuals or small families that cook at home 1-2 times a week.

Medium shares are ideal for individuals or small families that cook at home 3-4 times a week.

Large shares are ideal for individuals or large families that cook at home or eat raw vegetables 5-6 times a week.

How can I see what is in my share each week?

You will receive a Sneak Peek email the week before your CSA pick up day.  This email will explain what types of vegetables to expect in your share for the coming week.  If you wish to edit anything in your box, you’ll need to do so during the editing window (begins on Mondays at 12:00 pm and ends on Sundays at 11:59 pm).  For those that have a Farmer’s Choice CSA, you can edit and substitute any aversions.  For those that have a Customizable CSA, you can edit, add, delete, and/or substitute any vegetables.

On the day of your CSA pick up, you will receive a Newsletter email that outlines produce storage tips, farm news, and recipes that include highlighted vegetables you will receive in your share as ingredients.  You will also see what types of add-on shares you will receive that week if you have a subscription.

How do I pay for my CSA subscriptions?

If you are paying with a credit card, you can pay for your subscriptions through our website on your account.  We accept all major card brands.  If you are paying with a check, please make it out to:

Who Cooks For You Farm

383 Mill Seat Run Rd

New Bethlehem, PA 16242

On the Memo line, please clarify what the payment is for.  Please make sure to send your checks in a timely manner so that we receive them before a payment due date.

What payment plans are available for CSA subscriptions?

We have two payment plans available.  The Single Payment plan allows you to pay the full subscription price at once.  A benefit to doing this plan is that it allows you to enjoy the season without worrying about making payments.  The 4-Part Payment plan allows you to make four payments throughout the season.  A benefit to doing this plan is that it is more financially flexible.  Of the four payments, the first is due at the time of registration.  The remaining three payments will be due on the last day of the month going forward.

If you need a plan besides what we are offering, such as a Pay by Order plan, please reach out to us and we’d be happy to accommodate.

Where can I find information about my site host and pick up location?

Before the start of a season, you will receive a Host Site and Contact Information email that outlines the address of the pick up site as well as your host’s name and contact information.  We suggest that you save this information in an easily accessible place.  You can also access the site address and pick up times through your account.

  1. Log into your CSA member account.

  2. In the top right corner, click on the icon labeled “HELLO, YOUR NAME”.  An option menu will appear underneath.  Click on the section labeled “Account Information”.

  3. You will be brought to a page that lists your account information.  On the right side of the page, you will see your pick up location with the address and pick up times listed below.

If at any point you need the host contact information again, please be in touch with the farm as soon as possible and we’ll get you that information.  Having this information is important in case you are running late to a pick up or need assistance navigating the pick up site.

Can I send someone else to pick up my share?

Yes, you can send someone else to pick up your share.  We do not need to be contacted about this, but please make sure that the person is aware of what to do when picking up your share.  Also, please make sure that they take the correct items and that they check you off on the Subscriber Pickup Checklist.

What should I do if I can’t pick up my share?

If it’s a situation where you are running late and unable to make it to the site during the pick up times, please be in touch with your host as soon as possible.  Our hosts are flexible and may offer to hold your share until you are able to pick it up.  If you still can’t pick up your share, please let the host know so they can make sure it’s not wasted.

If you know in advance that you can’t pick up your share (Ex: you are going on vacation), you can place a “Vacation Hold” on your subscription.  Please follow our “How to Place a Vacation Hold” tutorial under the Traditional CSA section if you need assistance doing so.  Please note that we do require a five day notice for a hold.  If you miss this deadline, be in contact with us as soon as possible so that we can help you with making arrangements.

Can I share my CSA with someone?

Yes, you can share your CSA with others.  One person will sign up as the primary member, then you will need to organize payments, order editing, and pick ups with those that you are sharing with.  If you would like to include others in email communications about your CSA, please contact us and provide names and email addresses.  Also, make sure your account is accessible to those you want to share with.

What happens if I need to cancel a CSA subscription?

When you purchase a CSA, it’s a commitment.  However, we understand that there are situations that can arise in which you need to cancel your CSA.  If that’s the case, please submit a request through the Subscriptions page on your account.  We will confirm with you that you want the request fulfilled before officially canceling your subscription.  You will be refunded for any remaining subscription funds minus a $50.00 cancellation fee within 30 days of cancellation.  If you need to cancel before the start of a season, you will receive a full refund.

Can I change the size of my CSA share?  Can I switch pick up locations?

Yes, you can change your pick up location by contacting us.  Just be aware that changing your pick up location may change your distribution day as well.

If you wish to change your vegetable share size, please contact us.  If you choose to downsize your share, you have the option to have any remaining funds credited to your account, or we can refund the difference.

If you choose to upsize your share, any payments made on the previous subscription will be reallocated to the new subscription.
