We have coffee, cheese, mushrooms, eggs, and fruit that are wonderful additions to any vegetable share. All products are provided by local businesses throughout Western and Central Pennsylvania, and we stand by their excellent quality and varieties.

All shares will be prorated if you sign up after the season begins.

Coffee Share - Regular, Espresso, & Decaf

Building New Hope is a non-profit company based in Pittsburgh. The coffee comes from El Porvenir, a worker-owned cooperative in Nicaragua, and is certified organic, bird-friendly, and shade-grown by farmers who are paid more than fair trade prices. The money generated from coffee sales has created so much for their communities, such as training centers, schools, and literacy programs that are helping kids get off the streets, projects for women, community organizing initiatives, and alternative energy projects.

This is why we drink their coffee.

The coffee is distributed by Building New Hope and roasted specifically for our order at Washington County's 19 Coffee Company the week before each distribution.

These 16-oz, whole bean coffee shares are available for Weekly or Bi-Weekly distributions for all seasons.

One bag of the Regular Medium Roast is $13.00 per week, the Espresso Roast is $14.00 per week, and the Decaf Roast is $14.00 per week.

Cheese Share

We are partnering with several Western Pennsylvania creameries to bring you an assortment of the best Artisan Cow and Goat cheese available in our region.  The majority of the packs of cheese each week will weigh in at 8-oz, but there are a few varieties that weigh 6-oz.

One share is $8.00 per week and will be individual blocks/containers of cheese.

*Please note: Some of the cheeses we receive throughout the seasons are raw and unpasteurized.

Egg Shares - Dozen & Half-Dozen

Our egg share is provided to you by Dannie and Josie Miller from Hilltop Farm, which is just a 10 mile drive from our farm.  Their hens are out on pasture and are fed Non-GMO grains. They have a life free to roost, lay in the hen house, and graze in the pasture.  The egg share is available for Weekly or Bi-Weekly distributions.

One Dozen eggs are $6.75 per week and one Half-Dozen eggs are $3.50 per week.

Fruit Share - Summer & Fall Seasons Only

We partner with Woolf Farms from Northeastern Ohio and Durgin Orchards of South Central Pennsylvania to bring you delicious fruit.  These farms are known for their high quality and exceptional flavors, and we couldn’t be happier to offer their fruit to you. They manage their orchards using the IPM method, Integrated Pest Management. The fruit share is not organic.

The fruit share runs for 16 weeks beginning the third full week of July with peaches that run through the end of August.  If we are lucky, we may be able to get a couple weeks of plums and pears.  Towards September, apples will fill the shares for the remainder of the Summer season and throughout the entire Fall season. Woolf Farms has an amazing diversity of apples, from fresh eating to cooking, tart to sweet, so be prepared for a weekly scrumptious treat!

One share is $7.50 per week, and contains 3 pounds of fruit.

Mushroom Share

We are partnering with growers and wild harvesters at the Real Fungi Food Hub to offer you the very best of fresh harvested, chemical-free, locally grown and cultivated artisan mushrooms, as well as locally and sustainably foraged wild mushrooms. We sell alongside Real Fungi at the Farmers Markets and know their mushrooms to be of a super high quality.

One share is $8.50 per week and contains a 1/2 pound of mushrooms.
