How it Works

As a Market CSA member.... 

• From May 11th – November 25th, we are open Saturday, Sunday at the select Pittsburgh farmers markets. Shopping with us via Market CSA: you can choose anything you want in any quantities you desire from all our farmer's market stands. If you miss a market, no big deal! You shop when you can. For the 2020 season we are taking online orders that will be prepacked and ready to pick up at the market, or you can also choose home delivery or another pick up site in the city. We are also still going to have a stand that you can choose from at the Bloomfield market. As of 4/11 the city markets are ruling out having produce at the market, all orders must be pre-ordered online. The City Markets are starting later than usual, beginning in June, although we have plans to open our online store and begin delivering Mother’s Day Weekend.

• In March of 2020 we opened an Online Market. This was an impromptu effort to help deliver nourishing food amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic. We will continue our with Online Market through out the seasons into the fall and hopefully the depths of winter. Your investment into our Market CSA is creating your own food security and at the same time this financial investment in our farm will ensure our continued efforts to bring you fresh organic produce. This investment has no expiration date and you get all the flexiblity of ordering whatever you want, however much you want and chose where you get it.

• You receive a 10% bonus on the value of your purchase.  

• There is no cash exchange after you join our Market CSA, you make a lump sum financial investment in the season, anywhere from $100 - $1000 and you can draw from these funds throughout the season.

• You do this by purchasing an “eGift Card”online. This establishes a credit balance of your choice with our farm before you come to shop at any of our the markets.  Each time you shop with us, we'll deduct your purchase from your “eGift Card” credit balance the day of or 1-2 days after pick up or delivery. This “eGift Card”, is not a physical card and the confirmation number is not a credit card number. When you checkout at the an open air market, your first and last name as well as your e Gift card confirmation number will be all we need to check you out.

• We accept new Market CSA Members throughout the growing season. The purchase happens in the same manner at any time of year, and maybe takes 5-10 minutes at most.

• The Value of your eGift Card does not expire. Each time you shop your purchase is deducted from your balance. When you have diminished all the funds on your account you can simply get yourself a new gift card. If you happened to make an order on our online store and don’t have the appropriate amount of funds to cover your order, we will charge your credit card on file.

Open Air Market Locations

We are attending two farmers markets in Pittsburgh for the 2021 season.  As a Market CSA Member, you can shop with us at any and all of these markets.  The motto is wherever you want, whenever you want, however much you want!

• Squirrel Hill Citi Parks Market: Sundays 9:00 - 1:00 — Bartlett - Beacon Parking lot

Purchase an eGift Card to Join

• There is no promotion code. The 10% discount is automatically adjusted at the purchase.

• Please type the recipients name and email. (If you are buying this for yourself type your name here as well as the next cells that asks for your name and email. If you are purchasing this for someone else please type the recipients name and email which will be different from your name and email, which you will type next. *Please note it’s important if you intend to shop online it’s important to use the same name for the Market CSA as well as the Online Market registration.

• You will get a confirmation email. This confirmation email contains your account number. A number you should hold onto in order look up your current balance. Please also attach this to your first order.

After you purchase your eGift Card, be sure to sign up for email newsletters, to be up to date on any big news we have for our customers.
