Spring Mix

Nutrition Information:

Spring Mix is high in Vitamins A, C, and K, and is also a good source of Folate and Manganese. It also provides a small amount of fiber and protein.

Storage Tips:

Spring Mix has been hydrocooled after harvest, and then spun dry. We encourage you to rewash it and spin it, just before use. It’s essential to spin or hand towel dry salad greens before storing. If you have neither of these, a mesh sack that you can swing around your head outside like a lasso also works pretty good to dry out the greens. ( this can be a fun job for the kids). You can also just eat it within a few days and not worry about it being a little wet.

Uses:

Spring Mix is a good salad base, but it can also be added to sandwiches, or blended into smoothies for extra nutrients. You can always get creative with salads, adding a huge variety of toppings and dressing.
