Fall CSA Newsletter: December 10, 2024 (Week 5)
Hello Folks,
Winter is here! Happy Solstice! At this time with little light it's the time for deep reflection and warm meals. We are certainly slowing down here. Although we had a record breaking carrot harvest, so we will be bagging up these carrots for the foodbank. We have one employee who stays through the winter! Klinton, he'll be bagging carrots for the month of January, maybe into Febuary. We have about 8000lbs, so that's a lof of bagging!
We are already looking forward 2025. Seed and fertilizer orders have been placed and compost is arriving by the truck loads. Now it's overview and research time to have a better and tighter 2025.
Thank you all so much for your amazing support this season. Thank you for coming out and bringing your friends and family. We wish you all a happy holiday and safe and wonderful new year! We'll try not to go radio silent this winter. If we make our way to travels, we'll try to send you a note.
Lots of love and peace!
Your Farmers,
Chris, Aeros and Klinton
