Mushrooms: King Trumpet
King Trumpet Mushrooms are the largest of the Oyster Mushroom family, but unlike most oyster mushrooms, the stems of the King Trumpet are meaty instead of woody. These mushrooms are often fried in tempura batter, or used as an addition to stir-fry. They are also excellent roasted in a little bone broth with salt and herbs.
Cheese:
We are moving on to another Dairy. Goat Rodeo from Allison Park.
Pure Luck “is the newest member of the Goat Rodeo corral. Pure Luck is a traditional farmhouse cheddar made from all goat’s milk. The wheels are buttery and sweet with grassy notes and tangy finish with the pure white characteristics of goat’s milk.”
