Shishito peppers are rich in vitamins, particularly vitamin C and K1, making them a great immune booster as well as beneficial for heart and bone health. Shishito peppers are unique in that about every 1 in 10 peppers is spicy, while the other 9 have no heat!

Storage Tips:

Store these peppers in a plastic bag in the fridge before rinsing. They can last up to two weeks in the crisper drawer. These peppers can also be frozen whole.

Uses:

Shishitos are a Japanese roasting pepper. Just sprinkle with oil and salt and put on the griddle or pan to fry at medium heat until they start to puff up. They can also be grilled, added to salads and sandwiches and more.
