Sorrel is a great source of Vitamins C, A, and B6. It contains Magnesium, Copper, and Iron as well. The high levels of Vitamin C are helpful for fighting off common colds and boosting your immune system! It is sometimes used medicinally to aid in disgestion and reduce inflammation.

Storage Tips:

Keep Sorrel in a plastic bag in the crisper drawer of the fridge for up to a week. To freeze, Sorrel is best pureed and then frozen.

Uses:

Sorrel is used as both an herb and a vegetable, and has a sour, lemon flavor. It is often used in soups, stews, and curries.
